Last Week Of Term
Wow! What a busy last week of term! We finished off our mini Olympics, completed our space crafts and our reports for our portfolios. We finished off and presented our London Projects to the class. On Wednesday we celebrated Mrs.Kowalski's birthday by having a pirate party because the 19th of September is International Talk Like A Pirate Day.This was also our reward day. We played 'pin the patch on the pirate', had a treasure hunt, played 'captains salute' and ate hot chips for lunch, all while dressed like pirates. See our slide show below for some pictures from the day. On Friday we also finished the term by going to the Knox Basketball Stadium to have a clinic put on by some of the players from the Raiders. We had a wonderful term and Mrs Kowalski really loved teaching us full time for the 2nd half of the term. Enjoy your break everyone!

Week 10 reminders
There are a few reminders for this week
1. Playdough is due!! This is your last piece of homework for this term. Please remember to bring it in an air-tight container so it won't go off over the holidays.
2. Mini Olympics - We will be finishing off our mini olympics on Monday. Don't forget to wear your sports uniform.
3. Because of the mini olympics, we had to move some things around on the timetable. So our ART and SPORT has been moved to TUESDAY. Wear your sports uniform on Tuesday too.
4.Pirate party! Wednesday is our pirate party. Come dressed in your finest pirate gear and remember a gold coin for hot chips.
5. Friday is our last day of term and our basketball clinic. Make sure you have brought back your permission form and you wear your sports uniform on Friday too. You'll also need lots of water.
6. Swimming permission forms need to be returned by FRIDAY!!!

Basketball Clinic
To prepare us for our basketball clinic next Friday at Boronia Basketball Stadium, we had some ladies come to our school to give us a mini clinic today. We really enjoyed it and can't wait until next Friday.
Space ships complete
This week we finished off our space ships. After 2 terms of learning about space which included specific details about each planet, researching, designing, sketching, constructing, revising and displaying, our space ships are finished.
We had an ace time making them and we are currently writing reports for our portfolios about the process. here is a slide show of our completed ships.
